Yanuca Lailai (also known as Lost Island to travellers) is an uninhabited, 72 acres, volcanic rock, limestone island with an amazing nature located
between the islands of Ovalau and Moturiki in Fiji.
The coastline has mangrove trees, volcanic rock cliffs and beaches while the interior abounds in jungle.
The island has a tourist resort. Its totally off the main tourist track and its a hiding place to get away from the busy world and live a
"Robinson Crusoe".
The island was used as quarantine station when the first Indian indentured labourers arrived in the Leonidas.
